Communication Skills

Below is the framework I use for interviewing patients. It is mostly based on the Calgary-Cambridge guide found in Skills for Communicating with Patients by Jonathan Silverman et al. I have incorporated a some of the ideas found in Patient-Centred Medicine Transforming the Clinical Method by Moira Stewart et al to increase the focus on the illness experience.
