Reflection on Seminar Process and Feedback

The end product of our seminar on Interprofessional Education was extremely good.  All of our team members presented their components well.  The presentation went surprisingly smoothly being asked to switch venues fifteen minutes before our scheduled start time after we spent thirty minutes preparing the room for our learners.  We banded together as a team to move to our new venue with mild aggravation but without difficulty.  After we were asked to change venues for a second time, we quickly gathered to a group consensus and adamantly refused.   As with any presentation there were multiple mild hiccups during the performance.  As usual I felt much more self-conscious about these minor errors than the audience who were oblivious to these bumps.  We as a group performed well and the effort that had gone into the presentation was widely recognized by high marks from the participants.  Recommendations for improvement were mild and more stylistic than substantive in nature but the feedback will still be useful for future presentations.  I will carry much more forward from the difficulties of preparing the presentation than the end result of the presentation itself.
